Zorbing

zORBING

A zorbing ball is a double-sectioned sphere (one ball is placed inside the other). A layer of air between the balls separates them. The rider is harnessed inside the inner ball; and the bigger ball outside absorbs all the violent bouncing, which makes the ride extremely safe. The scheme of this adventure is that- the ball starts to roll, the rider spins and tumbles around, and enjoys the revolving view outside. It’s an overall fun experience. Rides in zorbing balls are becoming popular among all age groups.

Zorb Ball is also called Zorbing, Zorb Hamster Ball, Grass body bumper ball, Inflatable Zorb, Hill Ball, Inflatable grass plot ball, Inflatable roller ball, Land ball, Giant inflatable human hamster ball, Inflatable human hamster ball, etc.

TYPES OF ZORBING

Zorbing too, like any other sport, has its own varieties. Ground zorbing (hill) is descending from an inclined surface. This variation has two sub-variations: Harness zorbing – in this case, there are fixtures within the bowl that hold the passenger and Stock zorbing – wherein the passenger inside the human hamster ball is totally free from the bindings. In addition to ground zorbing, there are other types too, for example:
  1.  Hydro zorbing:- While practicing this kind of zorbing, the passenger inside the human hamster ball is in a suspended state (with special fastenings) and completely free. What makes this kind of zorbing unique is that there is water in the Zorb ball itself. The fact that you are rolled down an inclined surface, bouncing in a bowl of water, you get a completely different experience than what you get on a hill zorbing.
  2.  Free zorbing (or wound zorbing):- This type is unique in that the passenger inside the ball themselves set the speed of its rolling or descent. Thus, moving the ball (as if running on the spot), the person rolls the Zorb ball themself.
  3. Bubble Ride:- Aqua zorbing is similar to hydro zorbing in that both these species are associated with water, but otherwise, they are completely different from each other. Aqua zorbing means walking on water in a ball over the surface of a small pond or a special pool. In this case, the Bubble ball is water walking ball – only air inside.
  4. Aerosorbing:- Aerosorbing is similar to flying in a wind tunnel, only in this case a person will be placed in a balloon. Hovering in the air in the zorb, like in a soap bubble, the passenger will feel suspended in weightlessness with the only difference that the bubble ball itself will rotate at a rather high speed in space.
  5. Snow zorbing:- The chief difference between Snow zorbing and Hill zorbing lies in the season of the year when they are performed. Snow zorbing is uniquely designed for descent or simple skating on flat surfaces in winters.
Zorbing is an interesting and unusual, perhaps even a kind of active sport. Most people who are familiar with this sport say that very few other activities can present such exciting adventure and vivid emotions. One is charged with adrenaline and literal boils from excitement. Some people also compare the emotions after riding in a ball similar to riding a roller coaster. Therefore, if you have not experienced zorbing yet, then definitely try it! After all, emotions and impressions remain with you for life.
