THINGS TO REMEMBER BEFORE ZIPLINING IN INDIA
COMFORTABLE CLOTHING
We don’t mean anything loose or baggy when we suggest comfortable clothing. Shorts, spandex, etc. work perfectly well. The only thing to keep in mind is that you should be able to move from one corner to other without any added obstacle holding you back and getting in the way of your ziplining experience.
SHOES
No slippers! Wear hiking boots to make your zipline adventure comfortable.
SAFETY
It’s recommended that you let a professional guide you. If you choose a professional zipline tour, safety measures and precautions will be in place and you won’t have to worry about landing into trouble.
ZIP LINE EQUIPMENT
When you go zip lining, you need to be wearing special equipment to keep yourself safe and enable you to soar at high speeds down the lines.
Helmet
Harness
ZIP LINE TIPS FOR BEGINNERS
When you become familiar with zip line equipment and understand zip line safety precautions, there still remain a few things that you can do to optimize your zip line experience. Here are a few zip-line tips for beginners:
Wear close-toed shoes. You wouldn’t want your flip-flop to go flying off in the jungle. Make sure whatever you wear is firmly secured to your person.
Choose comfortable clothing. Make sure your clothes suit the sport. Wear gym clothes or breathable, loose and comfortable clothes for the day.
Empty Your Pockets. Again, you wouldn’t want things to fly out of your pockets as you rush down the zip line. Therefore, avoid bringing expensive gadgets or other items in your pockets for this adventure.
Don’t Take Selfies. We’re sure you’ll be excited to post your zip line adventure to Instagram, but play it safe and avoid taking selfies while in flight. We recommend leaving your mobile phone on the ground!
