Segway Tour

The Segway is a self-balancing, two-wheeled electric vehicle. Motors and computers in the base of the device keep it upright when it is powered on. The user has to lean forward to move forward, lean back to move backward, and use a “Lean Steer” handlebar; leaning it left or right; to turn. The Segway is driven by electric servos, at a speed of up to 20 km/hr. Gyroscopic sensors are fixed in it to detect tilting of the device. Motors driving the wheels can be commanded to bring the Segway back into static balance.

It can be used both to cover short, plain distances and as a recreational activity. It has been gaining much popularity as a technology-based recreation lately.
