Wake Boarding
Wakeboarding is a water sport in which the riders, stand on a wakeboard (a short board with foot bindings), and are towed behind a motorboat across the waves, especially off the crest in order to perform aerial leaps. Wakeboarding is a combination of snowboarding, water skiing, and surfing techniques.
The rider is commonly towed by a rope, but can also be towed by cables and winches, and be pulled by motorized vehicles like personal watercraft. The wakeboard boat and gear used for riding are often personalized to each rider.
